Radiology - we do on site X-rays as an aid to diagnosis and also for Hip Dysplasia Screening for dogs intended for breeding. In most instances, sedation or anaesthesia is required for X-raying.
We have a basic ultrasound unit used primarily for scanning pregnant animals .

Operating theatre with Autoclave instrument sterilization and modern anaesthesia facilities. We do both routine operations (eg Neutering) and also surgery to correct disease or trauma.

Cryosurgery ( freezing areas of tissue with liquid nitrogen to remove them) is also available.

Dental service - Descaling and extractions to cure painful teeth and gums.

Purpose built hospitalization kennels, for post operative recovery and in-patient care for animals needing a longer stay. Most animals return home the same day after an operation where possible.

A grooming service is available.

Small practice laboratory - Microscopy for skin scrapings, blood smears, vaginal swabs, worm egg counts. Also urine testing, preparation of samples to send to commercial laboratory

Well stocked Dispensary - most treatments will be available immediately, but some uncommon conditions may need drugs specially ordered.

Other services include:
Free weight checks with our pet weighing scales, along with
obesity and nutrition advice.
Microchip identification ( Pettrac ® ) to help recover your pet if lost.
Pet insurance advice and information available at reception.
